In the lush tropical vegetation is the stone chapel of Agia Paraskevi, Kryoneri. It is the oldest of the village. A miraculous holy water gushes from the foundations of the temple.
The chapel celebrates every 26 of July on the feast of Saint Paraskevi. On 25 July, on the eve of the feast day, the chapel hosts a procession of the icon of St. Paraskevi accompanied by the band of the Municipality and a large number of believers.
A Great Vespers follows, then various delicacies are offered to all attendees and the day ends with traditional dances by the dance groups of the Cultural Association of Kryoneri.
It is worth a stroll through the alleys of the village, admiring its natural beauties and tasting the local products.
